The Union of Feminist Organizations “(Re)connection” was founded in November 2016 with the aim of researching, systematizing, preserving, and digitizing feminist cultural heritage, as well as promoting, encouraging, and presenting contemporary women’s art, theory, and activism.
SFO “(Re)connection” develops its activities through two main project lines:
— the
Digital Platform ŽeNSki muzej (Women’s Museum), and
— the
Multimedia Platform of Contemporary Women’s Culture, Activism, and Theory — K.A.T.Within these frameworks, a wide range of production formats is represented and nurtured, including conferences and panel discussions, exhibitions, concerts, and publishing activities. To date, the organization has presented more than 80 Novi Sad–based female authors (writers, visual artists, musicians, theorists...) while simultaneously building connections with the regional and international scene. The virtual Women’s Museum —
